Being a first time mom is not easy, there are a lot of things that you must know and learn. Milk is very important particularly to those who are just born. This is where they get the nutrients that they need as they are growing since they are not ready to eat solid food. Though there are already milk that can be bought in the market it is still best to breast feed them. This process does not only benefit the child but also the mother.
When you breast feed you transfer antibodies to your baby that is best to prevent them from all illness. Aside from antibodies that your breast milk has, you also transfer nutrients, salt, fats, antibacterial agents, and protein. These are all important for your baby especially when they are still 6 months old or below. However, the World Health Organization recommends that it is best to continue breast feeding your babies until they reach 2 years old. It helps the child to avoid different type of illness, such as infection, gastroenteritis, and lung disease. It can also prevent the baby from having an eczema and ear infections. Through breast feeding the child has a better chance to enhance their speech because of how they use their mouth and tongue when they are being breast fed.
Feeding a baby with the milk that came from the mother’s breast will not only give benefit the child but also to mother. It helps to reduce the risk of having a cancer, such as breast and ovarian. It can also prevent the mother from having osteoporosis and help to overcome stress that they experience when they were delivering as well as carrying the child.
Breast feeding is certainly the most convenient and helpful way to take care of your babies. It lessens your burden of going to hospitals or doctors because it can fight illness that your child may experience. Additionally, when you breast fed a child it helps you and the baby to become more relax that will make them go to sleep.
When you fed your baby with other type of milk they are exposed to different illness. Formula milk is also very expensive nowadays but it won’t really give your baby the right nutrients that it needs.
